Megan Wilkinson
Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) has named Megan Wilkinson as manager, convention services. In her new role, Wilkinson will work closely with ACVB member companies to source suppliers, as well as collaborate with ACVB marketing and public relations departments to provide destination marketing materials to meeting planners. She will also manage bookings for groups with a minimum of 250 hotel room nights on peak to major citywide accounts. Wilkinson has been with ACVB since 2016, where she started as administrative assistant, trade show sales, and was promoted to manager, sales, in 2017.
Maribel Denner
JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort, opening in April 2020, has named Maribel Denner as its director of sales and marketing. Denner has more than 30 years of hospitality experience and has been recognized as a top performer for Marriott International, as well as Group Sales Leader of the Year. She previously worked as director of sales for Marriott Southwest Group Sales.
Ginette Provost
Ginette Provost will join the Palais des congrès de Montréal team, effective September 30. In the role of manager, business development, she will be in charge of the U.S. market. Provost has more than 20 years of experience in tourism, including sales, business development, and customer service. Previously, she served as a sales executive at GES.
