GES has named Patrick Lukan as senior vice president and general manager of GES Canada. Most recently, Lukan — who has more than 25 years of international operational and commercial experience in the event and travel technology space — served as chief operational officer of GES Middle East. In this new role, Lukan will work with Mike Lecour, GES executive vice president of Canada, to accelerate business.
Danielle Urbina
The American Heart Association (AHA) has appointed Danielle Urbina to the new position of vice president, corporate and scientific meetings, which falls within AHA’s Lifelong Learning team. Urbina has more than two decades of event leadership experience, and most recently served as director of meetings and exhibits for the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Vanessa Mobley
The National Safety Council (NSC) has named Vanessa Mobley as its senior manager for meetings and events. In this role, she will help organize the NSC Congress & Expo. Previously, Mobley served as senior meetings manager at the Association Management Center.
Cori Kallenberger
Cori Kallenberger has joined the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau as its new public relations and digital media specialist. She recently served as a marketing intern at the Allen Convention & Visitors Bureau. Kallenberger will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of initiatives for the bureau.
Christine Imbrogno
LaKota Hotels & Resorts has named Christine Imbrogno as director of sales and marketing at Lakota Oaks, an event and conference center in Norwalk, Connecticut. She has 23 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience, and most recently accomplished a sales and marketing mission for Doral Arrowwood in Westchester County, New York. In this new position, Imbrogno will be tasked with accommodating conferences and social events from surrounding areas.
