Resilience: The Power of the Bounce Back
2020 and 2021 have been full of challenges, from the COVID-19 global pandemic, to racial unrest, to parents forced to be at-home teachers. The hospitality industry has been hit especially hard by these challenges. Our keynote speaker Kenston Henderson, Sr. will ignite, inspire, and empower you to keep moving forward in spite of hard times, knowing there will be an ultimate comeback. Les Brown says, if you can look up, you can get up. If we can just fall forward, we can keep moving towards our goals, dreams, and be amazing during hard times. Kenston will share that the ability to connect with others is a major determining factor in reaching your full potential, and that connecting is a skill you can learn and apply now in your personal, professional, and family relationships to start building and fostering a community that will walk alongside you.

Learning Objectives

  • Become a self-leader
  • Understand the power of connections and a support team
  • Realize that YOU matter
