COPENHAGEN, DENMARK — Following its acquisition of Event Marketing Association (EMA) UK in January 2023, PCMA is pleased to announce further integration and evolution including a refreshed brand and new website. The new EMA brand is present throughout PCMA’s Convening EMEA Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark this week.
EMA is comprised of more than 700 event marketing professionals representing a cross-section of EMEA industry segments and global brands. Its foundation is built upon a safe space for private discussions, continued learning and meaningful networking and connections.
EMA is the most recent community of corporate event marketing professionals to come under the PCMA family of brands. In 2020 over 700 event marketing professionals and their business partners became part of PCMA’s global community when PCMA acquired the US-based Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA).
“We have been working closely with the EMA Advisory Board and community over the last eight months to understand their needs as individuals, teams and organisations,” said Jaimé Bennett, PCMA EMEA Managing Director. “These conversations have allowed us to build a new value proposition as part of our membership with many more benefits planned in partnership with our sister organisation in 2024. We are therefore delighted to complement that with a new brand identity and website which will assist in fostering a collaborative community that can share, learn, and grow together.”
