Daniel Lourenco
Director of Innovation & Technology Procurement, Encore Event Technologies
As the Director of Innovation & Technology Procurement in APAC, Daniel oversees Encore’s technical solutions, equipment, and innovations to ensure that Encore is the industry leader and meets clients’ needs at every step of their event journey.
He is responsible for discovering, developing, procuring, and installing technology and equipment. In doing so, he works closely with global suppliers, local venue partners, and valued clients to deliver leading in-person and hybrid solutions.
In 1988, he joined Encore as a trainee technician, progressing through technical and production roles, which has given him vast experience across the business and industry.
With over 20 years in the industry, Daniel continues to be inspired and motivated by the outstanding events Encore delivers for its clients, utilising the latest technological innovations and Encore’s production expertise to create memorable events that engage and amaze audiences.
Dan holds an Advanced Diploma in Live Production, Theatre and Events, an Advanced Rigging Licence, and is certified in Hybrid+ Virtual Events.
