131 Earn CAE Credential

More than 130 association executives have earned their Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, ASAE announced this month.

The 131 people in the summer 2019 class — including PCMA members Bethany Chirico, managing director,  global meetings and business development, at American Industrial Hygiene Association; Michelle W. Jones, director, convention and meeting services, at International Parking and Mobility Institute; Christine Pauley, director of meetings and conferences at American Society of Radiologic Technologists; and Ralph Robinson, director of meetings and affiliate relations at Florida Apartment Association — successfully completed the CAE examination administered nationwide on May 3.

The summer CAES will be honored along with the winter class at the Aug. 10-13 2019 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Columbus.

“Congratulations to the new class of CAEs!,” said Lowell M. Aplebaum, CAE, chair of the CAE Commission and CEO and strategy catalyst for Vista Cova. “Your commitment to increasing your knowledge of association management practices combined with your ongoing commitment to the community, will help your career as well as to improve the organizations you serve.”

The latest CAEs join more than 4,300 industry peers worldwide.

The next CAE examination will be administered Dec. 6 and the exam application deadline is Sept. 27.
