CHICAGO, IL, August 24 – The Virtual Edge Institute [VEI] and Meetings + Conventions Calgary announced today fall scholarship applications are now being accepted for VEI’s Digital Event Strategist [DES] newly updated course and certification exam.
The scholarships support business event organizers seeking to further their education in digital extensions and live streams of events. Meetings + Conventions Calgary is the exclusive sponsor of these scholarships which support the application, online course and exam fees – a $1000+ USD value. The scholarship winners will participate in the next DES LIVE Online course October 5-November 18. To learn more about the DES certification program click here.
The DES certification is designed to help individuals and organizations develop a means to effectively plan, produce and measure the results of their digital engagement practices. The DES program is already globally recognized with graduates spanning from the US, Canada, England, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Israel and Singapore.

The fall scholarship application deadline is Wednesday, August 31. Those awarded with scholarships will be eligible to participate in the DES LIVE online 7-week course starting October 5, taking place online each Wednesdays and Fridays at noon EST.
