He will lead the sales and catering team, manage corporate and consortia markets, as well as create and support strategic initiatives to increase hotel sales. DeJohn joined Hotel Granduca Austin in 2015 as part of the pre-opening team.

Xavier Bon has been named director of sales and marketing for San Francisco Proper Hotel. In this role, he will help drive guestroom sales and carry out the property’s mission of reshaping the perception of its meeting and event facilities. He previously worked at Joie de Vivre Hotels.

IMS Technology Services has appointed Paul Wedesky, CASE, CMP, as chief operating officer for the event staging division. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the meetings, events, and trade show industry. Wedesky most recently served as senior vice president of audio visual services for GES.
