Joyce Leveston
The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) has named Joyce Leveston as general manager, effective July 16. In this position, she will be responsible for MCCA’s overall business operations teams and contract partners, with a particular focus on leadership, management, and direction. Leveston currently serves as direct of convention services at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
Geralyn Krist
ConferenceDirect has announced that Geralyn Krist, CMP, has joined the team as a global account executive. In this role, Krist will place particular emphasis on new business development. Krist, who will be based in Kansas City, Missouri, has more than 25 years of hotel and destination sales experience. Most recently, she worked for the Sheraton New Orleans.
Gregg Herning
ACCESS Destination Services has appointed Gregg Herning as chief sales officer. He will be tasked with leading and directing the ACCESS national sales effort. Herning most recently served as vice president of sales for MGM Resorts International, working at the MGM Grand Hotel and Bellagio Resort and Casino.
Adam Leon
Pullman Miami Airport, the first hotel of the Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand to enter North America, has named Adam Leon as director of sales and marketing. Leon will be responsible for generating new sales initiatives that increase revenue for the property, as well as developing marketing strategies to keep up with today’s evolving hospitality marketplace. Leon has more than two decades of experience in the hotel industry. He has worked led sales teams for various Miami hotels such as Hotel Colonnade and the Hyatt Regency.
