Jim Sharpe
Aventri has named Jim Sharpe as its new chief executive officer. He succeeds Oni Chukwu, who has been elevated to executive chairman after leading the company as chief executive officer for the past six years. Sharpe has extensive executive experience in high-growth, technology-enabled businesses. Before joining Aventri, Sharpe spent six years as general manager and managing director at Gerson Lehrman Group.
Ibrahim Joueidi
GES has hired Ibrahim Joueidi to join the Middle East corporate sales team. Joueidi will be heading sales for the government, leisure, and tourism sector in the GES Dubai office. He has more than 16 years of senior experience in the events industry. Joueidi most recently served as sales development director at Biel Group, where he supported major international trade and tourism clients.
Catherine Chaulet
Global DMC Partners (GDP) has promoted Catherine Chaulet to CEO, in addition to her role as president. Chaulet has served as president of the organization for the past six years, where she built and led the strategy, success, and growth of GDP.
