Joyce Bernardo
The O‘ahu Visitors Bureau (OVB) has promoted Joyce Bernardo to director of marketing. In her new role, Bernardo will develop and oversee the implementation of OVB’s marketing plan covering domestic and key international markets and initiatives including management and coordination of cooperative marketing campaigns, public relations programs, promotions, eMarketing, assets management, and social media. Bernardo began her career with OVB in 2005 as an administrative coordinator. She most recently served as the organization’s marketing manager.
Graham Pope
Cvent has named Graham Pope as head of European sales for its Hospitality Cloud platform. Pope has nearly 14 years of experience in the event and software-as-a-service spaces, and will be based in Cvent’s European headquarters in London. Pope will drive continued growth in Europe and support the company’s expansion into new and emerging markets. Pope and his team will also look to develop and deepen relationships with both new and existing Cvent customers to address their needs and find new ways to support their MICE and corporate business goals.
Sherif El Mansoury
Sherif El Mansoury has been named director of sales at The H Hotel Dubai. He will be responsible for leading the hotel’s sales team and will play a key role in the development and implementation of strategic sales plans and initiatives to maximize revenue streams. Mansoury will also identify new business opportunities for the property and will represent The H Hotel Dubai at major events, conferences, and trade shows. Mansoury has 19 years of luxury hospitality experience, and has worked at international hotel chains such as The Ritz Carlton Sharm El Sheikh, Fairmont Nile City Hotel, and Mosaic Palais Aziza & Spa Hotel.
