PCMA Announces Convening Leaders Host Cities for 2019 and 2020

PCMA has announced that it will host its 2019 Convening Leaders annual meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the following January, the event will head west across the U.S. to San Francisco. The premier business-events industry gathering draws more than 4,200 professionals for three days of high-level education and networking, and each year raises the bar in terms of innovative formats, content, delivery, and presentations to help participants transform their own events.

Indeed, Pittsburgh is a city synonymous with transformation. Once known as “The Steel City,” it has remade itself into a high-tech hub, known for its sustainability initiatives and top-notch educational and research facilities.

In 2020, Convening Leaders participants will have the opportunity to experience the recent expansion of San Francisco’s Moscone Center, in close proximity to dining, nightlife, and attractions reflecting the city’s unique cultural and intellectual diversity.

“Convening Leaders is the premier industry event for leading business event professionals,” said Deborah Sexton, PCMA’s president and CEO. “Our participants and partners attend this event every January to network with their colleagues from around the globe and seek out innovation for their upcoming programs. Both Pittsburgh and San Francisco are unique welcoming destinations with tremendous capital communities that will contribute valuable ideas to our program.”
