No two people retain information in the same way, which presents a challenge for event strategists and speakers alike. How do we provide education in a format that engages and enlightens all adult learners? This session will take a closer look at how key adult learning principles can assist in developing modern session formats that lead to diverse learning environments.

We’ll also explore approaches we can take to encourage speakers to expand on their presentation pattern using newer formats.

Learner Outcomes:

• Identify your current event audience and how they best retain education and in what format
• Construct a new presentation format for at least one upcoming session and measure its successes or failures
• Review the new format examples presented and distinguish one format that would work well with your audience
