Colleen has over 26 years experience as a marketing leader in the IT industry in roles ranging from demand programs, channel marketing and web design. For the last 15 years she has lead high performing event strategy, planning, and execution teams. She is passionate about data driven strategies and has a demonstrated ability to link event marketing strategy and execution to business goals and results.
As Vice President, IBM events and experiences Colleen leads the event discipline across the company which is responsible for executing over 4,000 events around the world each year including the flagship IBM Think Global Conference as an integral part of IBM’s marketing programs. Her focus is on transforming the way we think about event strategy, planning and execution by taking attendee journeys to new levels through innovative end-to-experiences.
Through the pandemic Colleen quickly pivoted the team and created a world class digital event organization and is now leading the way back to face-to-face events that deliver exceptional attendee experiences and drive significant business results.
