After eight years of dedication, Hawaii brought the World Conservation Congress to the US for the first time in the 68 years. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress (WCC), selected Hawaii for all the unique attributes directly related to conservation. The WCC National Host Committee’s Executive Director will share their strategy for both attracting the bid and hosting an event of this magnitude.
