An Exciting Update From PDW

After more than 16 years producing TED Conferences, including the last five flagship TED Conferences, held in Vancouver, PDW is making its longtime collaboration with TED formal. The team’s talent and intellectual property will be acquired by TED Conferences LLC, the New York-based non-profit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. The agreement is due to close May 1, 2018.

TED it is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, usually in the form of short, powerful talks delivered by today’s leading thinkers and doers. Many of these talks are given at TED’s annual gathering in Vancouver, Canada, and at thousands of independently organized TEDx events around the world. Recordings of these talks are available for free on TED.com and other channels.

PDW was founded in 2000, and has since grown into a company that specializes in producing complex, multi-dimensional conferences and events with a special emphasis on thought-leadership events. TED will continue to be located in New York, while PDW’s North Vancouver office will become TED’s Vancouver office.
