Amilie Parent, CPA, CA, has been promoted to president at Showcare.
After five years as the vice president of finance and administration at Showcare — which offers a range of services including registration and housing, lead retrieval, mobile apps, and CE tracking — Amilie Parent, CPA, CA, has been promoted to president.
“Amilie has always been passionate about Showcare — our people, our values, and our commitment to exceptional service,” Robert Kozub, CEO of the company and former president, said in a statement. “I know that in this new role she will inspire every member of the organization to embody our values in every facet of what we do.”
The PCMA community is currently benefiting from Parent’s passion for meetings and events — she is a member of the PCMA Board of Directors. “This is an exciting moment for me,” Parent said via email. “I hope that it will help me create more positive impact for PCMA.”
Parent’s financial and operational expertise will play a key role as Showcare aims for continued growth. The company has formed strategic partnerships in recent years, and has offices in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Ontario, and Quebec.
Former PCMA President and CEO Deborah Sexton, who currently serves on Showcare’s board, commented on what Parent’s leadership will mean for the company. “Amilie is a proven leader and continues to make a positive impact on our overall business strategy,” Sexton said. “She is resilient and proactive; always looking for ways the company can improve and evolve.
