These innovative spaces will leave an impression on attendees.

GardenWalk North

The latest addition to Anaheim’s large-party venues, GardenWalk North provides more than 460,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space. Located in the heart of the city’s Resort District, with easy access to the Anaheim Convention Center and more than 50 hotels, GardenWalk can accommodate groups from 2,000 to 10,000. “Planners can choose from six sought-after venues,” Katie Pederson, director of special event sales at House of Blues Anaheim, tells PCMA, “including [40,000-square-foot] House of Blues Anaheim, Fire + Ice Interactive Grill + Bar, Johnny Rockets, [14,000-square-foot] Grasslands Meat Market BBQ & Churrasco, Bowlmor Lanes, and [10,000-square-foot] Rumba Room Live —or book them all with a custom plan offering guests every imaginable option for their dining and entertainment enjoyment.” With GardenWalk North’s “block party” concept, Pederson explains, planners can customize their events to fit their specific needs, “including the exact combination of spaces, themes, food and beverage varieties, and entertainment.”

21 Royal

For VIP dinners, planners can treat attendees to the ultra-luxe 21 Royal at Disneyland Resort. Upon arrival, up to 12 guests receive a VIP escort to the venue, located above the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in New Orleans Square. The recently remodeled 2,200-square-foot suite was originally built in the 1960s as a private apartment for Walt Disney himself to entertain VIP guests visiting the park. The epicurean experience includes signature cocktails and a wine-paired seven-course dinner curated by resort chefs and a sommelier. Planners can even roll out the red carpet with a private tour that includes a personal concierge, priority access to 30 attractions, and reserved seating at shows.

The Blind Rabbit

Take delegates back to the days of Prohibition at this 1920s-inspired cocktail lounge. A great option for VIP dinners and networking events, the Blind Rabbit offers more than 40 expertly crafted drinks, live entertainment in the form of a professional pianist, and group activities like Whiskey 101 sessions. All food and beverage packages can be tailored to different groups and tastes, with options ranging from sit-down seasonal meals to hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.

Pelican Grill Tasting Table

Give attendees a truly interactive dining experience at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, which offers an immersive, chef-led tasting table at Pelican Grill. Cooking for smaller groups of up to 10 guests, the tasting table chefs incorporate favorite flavors from the restaurant, like butcher-cut steaks and farm-fresh ingredients, into an original menu developed exclusively for the group and prepared just steps away from the open kitchen.

Marconi Automotive Museum

What better way to mix it up than to host an event around a multimillion-dollar car collection? Attendees can reconnect and network with colleagues among Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and other rare and exotic vehicles. Car enthusiasts won’t be the only ones who enjoy an event at the Marconi Automotive Museum, which offers a range of packages for all group sizes and budgets. In addition, all proceeds from any event hosted at the museum support at-risk children via the nonprofit Marconi Foundation for Kids.

Anaheim Brewery

Located in the Packard Building, a 1920s structure within the city’s Historic District, Anaheim Brewery offers an inventive indoor/outdoor space for event planners. The brewery’s 100-seat beer garden, which looks out on nearby Farmers Park, provides a lush, green oasis in the heart of downtown, great for networking events and cocktail hours. Inside Anaheim Brewery’s 700-square-foot tasting room —which is reminiscent of Old Anaheim with a vintage wooden bar salvaged from the old Covered Wagon Saloon —delegates can sample from the extensive menu while watching the beer-making process.
