Last month, PCMA and Convene hosted partners and sponsors attending PCMA Convening Leaders 2017 in the Convene Club, a 1,350-square-foot room on Level 3 of the Austin Convention Center. Working with Modern Event Rental, PCMA designed the space to be used as a combination office, meeting room, and respite.
“The Convene Club, like an airport club, is an opportunity for us to provide a VIP experience to our most valued partners, sponsors, advertisers, and their guests—sometimes a necessary escape from the hubbub and high energy that comes with an event like Convening Leaders,” said Mona Cotton, PCMA’s vice president of partner relations and business development. “It’s also an opportunity to build on the brand of Convene, using it as a playground to try new things. So we wanted to design the space to create an environment that would both promote a mindset for thinking differently as well as calmness.”
