Adriana Molina
Teneo Hospitality Group has appointed Adriana Molina as vice president of association sales. She will be based in Teneo’s Washington, D.C., offices. A member of PCMA, she has worked in both hotel sales and conference planning. She spent 25 years at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and for the last eight years, led its global sales office in Washington, D.C.

Blaire Zahn and Liz Navarette
Visit Plano has announced the promotion of two staff members. Blaire Zahn, former convention services coordinator, will now serve as SMERF (social, military, educational, religious and fraternal) and government sales manager. In her new role, Zahn will book SMERF and government conventions, meetings, and events, as well as secure hotel room nights. She joined Visit Plano in December 2016 after working as tourism director at Mineral Wells Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Liz Navarette, previously an intern, has been promoted to the position of convention services coordinator. She will manage logistics, arrangements, and services for Visit Plano clients once they have booked an event. Navarette will also help meeting planners coordinate events in Visit Plano’s targeted market segments.

Ross Hosking
Ross Hosking has been named vice president of sales and distribution for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. He will be responsible for driving profitable commercial revenue growth across all brands, and will specifically oversee sales activities in the Americas. Hosking most recently worked as president of Meetings.com, which he helped launch. Before that, he spent six years with Wyndham Hotel Group as executive vice president of global sales.

Vicky Betzig
Vicky Betzig, CMP, has relaunched Meetings Industry Consulting (MIC), the company she founded in 2005, with a new focus on training, consulting, and event management. She is a former director of meetings & events for PCMA, and most recently was director of client services at Visit Anaheim.

Michele Vennard
Michele Vennard has announced she will be exiting her role as president and CEO of the Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau in late spring 2018. She has spent more than 30 years in New York’s travel and tourism industry. She first joined the Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau in 1981 when she was appointed its first tourism director.

Bob Korin
Teneo Hospitality Group has appointed Bob Korin as director of sales. He will join the company’s Northeast team. Korin has spent the majority of his career with Marriott International, where he held several leadership positions in conference center management, national sales, and strategic account management. Most recently, he spent nine years as director of national accounts for Hilton Hawaii.

Claudia Vecchio
Claudia Vecchio has been named CEO of Sonoma County Tourism. She will succeed Ken Fischang on Nov. 1. Vecchio has served as head of the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs since 2011.

Tim Miller
InProduction, an event services industry company, has appointed Tim Miller as director of business development. Miller will lead the expansion of InProduction’s products and services into the marketplace. He will also be responsible for leading the marketing and communications team. Miller has spent more than two decades in the sports and entertainment industries. He has held leadership roles in the development and production of multiple events, including the 2015 UCI Road World Championships in Richmond, Virginia.

Emilio Gomez
Emilio Gomez has been tapped as director of sales and marketing for the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. He takes his new position with more than 15 years of hotel sales and marketing experience. Most recently, Gomez served as the dual-property director of group sales for San Antonio Rivercenter Marriott & San Antonio Riverwalk Marriott.
