Krystine St. Michael Bussiere
The Baltimore Convention Center has named Krystine St. Michael Bussiere, CMP, as its director of sales and marketing for the Baltimore Convention Center. She will be responsible for leading a team of 14, which will be working with Baltimore’s hospitality partners to sell and service the property. Previously, she served as national sales manager for the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
The Expo Group has added Marisa Lichtenstein to its Level5 Events by The Expo Group team. She will serve as a national sales director based in New York City. Lichtenstein, who has 17 years of experience in business development and account management for live events, digital, social media, as well as integrated communications experience in B2B and B2C marketing, has served with world-recognized companies such as NBCUniversal, Moet Hennessy, Tesla, and BNY Mellon.
Christine “Shimo” Shimasaki
Simpleview has acquired 2Synergize, Inc., a San Diego-based consulting firm owned and operated by Christine “Shimo” Shimasaki. Shimasaki, who has more than 30 years of hotel and CVB experience, will join the Simpleview team ,as 2Synergize, LLC, will continue to consult in the areas of access an analysis of CVB sales strategies; citywide sales strategy formulation with hotels and the convention center; sales data analysis, and more. Previously, Shimasaki spent eight years as the director of sales at several Marriott properties.
