Gordon Taylor III

Destination Cleveland has appointed Gordon Taylor III as its new vice president of convention sales and services. Taylor brings more than two decades of sales experience in the hospitality industry to Destination Cleveland, where he will lead a team responsible for selling the city as a meetings, conventions, and events host city. He will focus on citywide group business optimization and long-range sales of the area’s convention facilities, as well work with local hotel leadership to solicit new business. Most recently, Taylor served as the complex director of sales and marketing at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago and Conrad Chicago.

Katrina Stewart

NYC & Company has named Katrina Stewart as its new regional director, national accounts, Midwest, for convention development. Stewart will be responsible for selling New York City as a meetings and conventions destination in the Midwest region for groups requiring 151 rooms and above on peak. Stewart has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, and has held positions in destination sales for several New York City Marriott hotels over the past decade, most recently at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Michael McClellan

The St. Anthony Hotel, located in San Antonio, Texas, has hired Michael McClellan as its new food and beverage director. McClellan, who has worked in the industry for more than 15 years, will oversee the property’s culinary offerings, including catering for meetings, banquets, and special events. McClellan most recently served as general manager for food and beverage operations at the La Cantera Resort & Spa.
