Business-events industry leaders will take a bite out of the Big Apple for the 2017 PCMA Education Conference, but if you can’t make the trip to Manhattan, you can still get a taste of the knowledge in the Education Conference LIVE digital event on June 12 and 13. Sponsored by New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau and New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and produced by the Digital Experience Institute, this year’s Education Conference LIVE digital event will expand to two full days of live-streamed programming that offer up to 11.5 CEUs for attendees. The broadcast will include keynote sessions on the Main Stage and exclusive live interviews. Breakout sessions will cover cyber security, augmented reality, and a range of other pressing issues on event professionals’ minds.
“In addition to streaming some of the most popular sessions, we’ll be featuring interviews with presenters leading new ideas and event design concepts, too,” said Jennifer Kingen Kush, executive director of the Digital Experience Institute. “Attendees can discover some of the new ideas that will shape the future of meetings and events.” Kingen Kush added that each day of digital programming will conclude with a virtual happy hour to give remote participants opportunities to share ideas, ah-ha moments, and continue the conversation.
