Connect to the Convenience of Indy

A Sponsored Message from Visit Indy

See why Indianapolis’ Indiana Convention Center feels like an all-inclusive resort for meeting planners.

The Indiana Convention Center (ICC)—sitting at the heart of a campus featuring 12 hotel properties with 4,700 rooms, all connected by a series of climate-controlled skywalks—offers the most connected meeting setup in America. The hyper-convenient layout has generated plenty of buzz for the destination (USA Today once named it the best convention city in the U.S.), and keeps attendees out of the elements 365 days a year. For planners, meeting at the ICC means cutting down on transportation costs and keeping groups together so they can get down to business.

The ICC Forecast is Always Sunny

It’s always 70 degrees in the skywalks that connect Indy’s convention district. No matter where attendees need to get to during their stay—pre-event buildings, hotel rooms or meeting spaces, even shopping and dining options—they can cruise around in climate-controlled comfort.

Made for Walkers

The connected campus also allows attendees to spend more time getting their daily steps in, and less time sitting in cabs, ride shares or shuttle buses. (Planners, imagine the team-building activities you can add to the agenda if you’re saving on transportation costs!) If attendees forget something in the room or just need a moment of “me time” between meetings, hotel rooms are always just a quick walk away. And when their meetings end for the day, attendees can easily stroll over to more than 300 dining and entertainment options.

More Connection to Come

Anticipated in 2023, the number of hotel rooms connected to ICC will increase even more. The Center is planning a substantial expansion, adding a 50,000-square-foot ballroom and 1,400 additional rooms in two new Hilton branded properties, including one of the nation’s first Signia towers. This would bring the number of connected hotels to 14 and the number of connected hotel rooms to 6,100.

Let Visit Indy help you connect with a plan for getting down to business at your next event.
