Tahira Endean

Author, event design instructor and producer

Endean is head of events at SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence) and author of Intentional Event Design: Our Professional Opportunity. She creates — and educates others about — human-centered events that draw on her fascination with neuroscience and the power of the senses to enhance memory.

For me, success is when people can come away [from an event] and say, not, ‘I scanned a bunch of badges’ … but where they can say, ‘I had X number of meaningful conversations that I feel are going to help me in my future.’ When they say, ‘I learned applicable takeaways that I’m going to go back to my job and be able to do something with.’”
