Peter Wilt


Veteran American soccer executive and branding expert Peter Wilt is a leader in creating communities and building audiences for professional soccer teams.

Using innovative crowd building methods, he has earned record business growth as well as six championship rings for teams in four professional American soccer leagues. He has successfully launched seven soccer teams, more than anyone in history.

Peter recently kicked off Forward Madison FC and the Green Bay Voyageurs in Wisconsin. Prior to the Wisconsin teams, he created Indy Eleven, which was the first professional soccer team in the United States to sell out every home game in its inaugural season. He is most well known as the founder of Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire and National Women’s Soccer League’s Chicago Red Stars

Peter is a member of four Halls of Fame including the Illinois Soccer Hall of Fame and the Chicago Fire’s Ring of Fire.
