PCMA COVID-19 impact survey push for APAC participants

Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), the world’s largest platform for business events planners, will extend their COVID-19 Recovery Dashboard Research initiative with a push into the Asia Pacific region starting 30 June 2020.

Since March, PCMA have been conducting industry-wide surveys fortnightly amongst the global business events community to document and analyse the growing impacts of COVID-19 on the sector.

Karen Bolinger, Managing Director of PCMA APAC, calls for members of the business events community to contribute to the survey, to help create an accurate view of the current state of the industry for both event planners and suppliers, and understand what the future looks like for our region.

“Whilst there have been various surveys go out in parts of the APAC region, none have provided a full view of Asia Pacific as a standalone region. This edition of the COVID-19 Recovery Dashboard will invite many APAC businesses and individuals in the business events community to contribute.

“We all need to get an accurate picture of what is occurring, so we can then collectively determine recovery strategies for planners and suppliers going forward.

“I encourage everyone to put 10 minutes aside to take part in this survey as we will all benefit from deeper insights,” said Ms Bolinger.

The COVID-19 Recovery Dashboard survey will be released on Tuesday 30 June and be open for 7 days, closing on 7 July 2020.
