Tory Enriquez
Benchmark has named Tory Enriquez director of sales and marketing for Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center, which is expected toward the end of 2018. Enriquez returns to Benchmark after serving as area director, sales and marketing for Howard Hughes Hospitality. When she previously worked at Benchmark, she served as director of sales and marketing for Del Lago Resort of Montgomery, Texas.
Edward Zissel
Conrad New York, in partnership with Union Square Events, has announced the appointment of Edward Zissel as director of banquets. Zissel brings more than a decade of planning and events experience to the role, where he will manage the planning and execution of all operations by Union Square Events, the hotel’s exclusive catering partner. He will help expand the team’s training efforts and enhance the processes between the two institutions. Prior to this role, Zissel served as assistant director of banquets at Union Square Events at Conrad New York.
David Almond
Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has hired David Almond as regional vice president of sales — Midwest U.S. and Canada. Based in the global sales office in Chicago, Illinois, Almond is now leading and overseeing ALHI’s global sales teams in Chicago; Kansas City, Missouri; Louisville, Kentucky; and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Previously, Almond served as director of sales and marketing for the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile.
Craig A. Waterman
Two Roads Hospitality has appointed Craig A. Waterman as vice president of openings and transitions. Waterman will be tasked with overseeing new and transitioning projects across the company’s portfolio. Waterman, who has three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, joined Two Roads Hospitality in 2014 as general manager of Hotel Kabuki, a Joie de Vivre property in San Francisco, and regional director of operations, overseeing the Northern California, Arizona, and Hawaii regions.
