Michelle Johnson

Freeman has promoted Michelle Johnson, the company’s current senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO), to executive vice president of Freeman. Johnson joined Freeman in 2009 as vice president of application development. She was promoted to senior vice president and CIO in 2012, and has since focused on driving Freeman’s IT strategy.

Charlene Lopez

Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) has announced the promotion of Charlene Lopez to director of citywide sales. She will lead sales initiatives for citywide events that require multiple hotel properties and space within the two convention centers in downtown Atlanta. Lopez has 16 years of experience in hospitality. She joined ACVB in 2012 as sales manager, national accounts.

Rachel Loh and Kershing Goh

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has appointed Rachel Loh as its next regional director for STB, Americas. She succeeds Kershing Goh. Loh previously served as the strategic planning and incentive policy director at STB headquarters. She will now oversee planning, business development, marketing, and tourism promotions efforts in the Americas region, as well as drive strategies that enhance Singapore’s position as a global tourism destination.

Goh leaves her position to become the new senior vice president of strategic partnerships and alliances. She will oversee strategic and insightful application of next-generation technology to Singapore’s tourism efforts.

Nadia Vanderhoof

The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has appointed Nadia Vanderhoof as its marketing and communications manager. She will work with the OCCC executive team on strategies to enhance marketing initiatives at the Center of Hospitality. Vanderhoof will lead marketing, advertising, media relations, and branding strategies to carry out the OCCC’s mission of economic development. She has extensive experience in public relations, marketing, and brand innovation, and recently served as assistant manager of communications and digital marketing for Orange County Government.

Craig Pemberton and Matt McGraw

ON Services, a GES company, has hired Craig Pemberton as a national sales manager for corporate business and Matt McGraw as account manager for corporate trade show accounts. Pemberton brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role, and has held leadership positions at H.B. Stubbs Company, EWI Worldwide, and The George P. Johnson Company. He will now work with ON Services’ staging team, with a focus on corporate manufacturing business.
