Michael D. Waterman

Michael D. Waterman has been named chief sales officer of Visit Orlando, effective Aug. 26. Waterman, who has nearly three decades of experience in hospitality sales and marketing held multiple sales and marketing leadership positions at Marriott International during his 24 years with the organization. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Visit Houston. Waterman also serves on the boards of the U.S. Travel Association and Destination International.

Jack Macleod

360 Live Media has hired Jack Macleod to fill a newly created role: chief growth officer. He will help associations accelerate growth and increase performance of their organizations. Specifically, Macleod will collaborate with association leaders to help them reach a larger percentage of their audience, retain attendees, be relevant in various segments that the association serves, build the association’s reputation, generate revenue, and more. Previously, Macleod served as publisher and chief revenue officer at Inside Higher Ed.

Robert Festinger

Menin Hospitality has appointed Robert Festinger as vice president of hotel operations, in conjunction with his current role as the Mondrian South Beach’s general manager. Festinger will oversee the day-to-day operations for Menin Hospitality’s portfolio of hotels, and will also act as a mentor to other property general managers and their management teams. Festinger brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to this position. Most recently, he served as general manager of YVE, a downtown Miami hotel.
