Ellen Schwartz and Brad Gessner
Ellen Schwartz has been promoted to general manager of the Los Angeles Convention Center. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the facility, including sales and marketing, public relations, operations, guest services, security, event services, human resources, food and beverage, and parking operations, while also overseeing the convention center’s budget and revenue maximization. Schwartz has been with the Los Angeles Convention Center team since 2013.
Brad Gessner, who held the position of general manager since 2013, has been promoted to senior vice president of the convention center. He will be responsible for contract administration, strategic planning, and participating on the expansion and modernization of the team.

Alan Enns
Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, has appointed Alan Enns as senior sales manager. Enns, who has more than 25 years of sales experience, will serve as the hotel’s lead representative for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast association market. Most recently, Enns served as the account director for The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando, Florida.

Sunny Li
Sunny Li has joined Dream Hotel Group as vice president of development for China and North Asia. Li has more than 30 years of experience in hotel development and portfolio expansion. Before taking on her latest position, Li held multiple positions with Wyndham Hotel Group.

Pat Kraft Hilpl
Pat Kraft Hilpl has joined The Hilpl Group as co-principal. For the past 20 years, Kraft Hilpl represented the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau in various senior business development roles. Kraft Hilpl is the president elect for the Greater Philadelphia Professional Convention Management Association, a member of the Professional Convention Management Association and ASAE, the Center of Association Leadership.

Joe Hirsch
AlliedPRA has named Joe Hirsch senior vice president, field sales. In this role, he will drive revenue growth opportunities in all local offices across the AlliedPRA enterprise. Hirsch will also collaborate with office leadership to support local sales teams in creating and implementing sales strategies. Hirsch previously served as vice president of branch sales for PSAV.
