Carol Wallace

The board of directors of San Diego Theatres, Inc., the organization that manages and operates the San Diego Civic and Balboa Theatres, has appointed Carol Wallace interim chief executive officer. Wallace, who has 35 years of experience in the industry, previously served as president and chief executive officer of the San Diego Convention Center Corporation, which oversaw the operations of San Diego Theatres, Inc., until 2014 when the organization became a non-profit. The board intends to begin the search for a new chief executive officer following the completion of the strategic planning process.

 Barry E. White

Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau has named Barry E. White its new president and chief executive officer. White has more than 26 years of tourism and hospitality experience. He most recently served as president and chief operating officer of the Augusta, Georgia, Convention and Visitors Bureau, where he worked for 23 years.

Leah Chandler

The recently created Puerto Rico Destination Marketing Organization has appointed Leah Chandler, CDME, as its chief marketing officer, effective mid-May. In her new role, she will use her 16 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry to support Puerto Rico’s economic growth. Previously, Chandler was the chief marketing officer for the Branson Convention & Visitors Bureau in Branson, Missouri.

Dylan Andersen

Dylan Andersen has been named director of sales, the Americas, for the Edinburgh-based DMC Cashel Travel. Andersen, who will be based in Minneapolis, will be tasked with growing Cashel’s footprint in the region. He has represented top luxury hotel and resort destinations over the past 10 years.
