Rosen Plaza Hotel’s 3NINE is the newest event space in Orlando. Unlike any other venue on International Drive, 3NINE gives planners an all-in-one housing, conference, and entertainment solution. Adding to Rosen Plaza’s already more than 60,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space, including a 26,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, this contemporary and sleek entertainment space has built-in theming and AV, including a stage with lighting, a sound system, customizable flat screens throughout, and a dance floor. It’s quickly becoming a premier buy-out option for event planners.

3NINE can accommodate up to 500 guests, and groups needing more space can book the adjacent ’39 Poolside Bar & Grill, providing indoor and outdoor event space for up to 1,500 attendees. Guests can enjoy cocktails along the palm tree–lined pool deck on breezy Orlando nights. The Rosen Plaza property can host groups up to 2,800 with 800 guestrooms.

Robert W. Lipscomb, CEO, Williams Company Southeast, recently hosted his company at 3NINE, taking advantage of the venue’s versatility and turn-key amenities. “I had so many people tell me that it was one of the best venues we’ve been to!” he said. “Many of my guests stayed inside 3NINE and ate and drank and danced, while others were able to enjoy watching the football game at the outside adjoining bar area, which was a bit quieter.”

Rosen Plaza’s culinary team headed by Executive Chef Michael McMullen adds to the 3NINE event experience, serving inventive dishes, many made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients, and developing menu options as unique as the individuals they feed. Many of McMullen’s meals are inspired by a passion his family — including his mother and grandmother — shared for cooking.

“Their cooking was all about love, family, and gathering people together,” he told PCMA. “Because of their influence, I’ve always had this love of food and a desire to pass this on.” Whether creating a “mad scientist lab” for more than 1,000 scientist attendees or an intimate family brunch, Chef McMullen shares a personal touch with every event hosted at Rosen Plaza.

Affordable, turn-key event venues like 3NINE and impeccable cuisine are just a few reasons why Rosen Plaza is a top choice among planners. The property also enjoys a prime location on International Drive, just across the street from Pointe Orlando’s shopping and entertainment options, adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center via the Gary Sain Memorial Skybridge, and just a 15-minute drive from the Orlando International Airport.

Rosen Plaza also ensures that each event is different, delivering a personalized experience every time — something staff likes to call “The Rosen Difference.” The Rosen Difference marks the forward-thinking vision and commitment to service that is at the heart of Rosen Hotels & Resorts’ award-winning convention hotels — something meeting planners, such as Heather Grubb, Blue Shield California, have come to expect at Rosen Plaza.

“I felt safe and the rooms were beautiful, modern, and quiet. It was like living a week in a mini, plush apartment,” Grubb said after a recent event at the hotel. “The check-in agent was so kind and helpful to me, very friendly and welcoming. Everyone was wonderful. The housekeepers engaged with me and did a wonderful job.”
