Edward Koh

Dr Edward Koh leads the Conventions, Meetings & Incentive Travel division at the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau, under the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). Since 2019, he has been instrumental in attracting international congresses and corporate events, strengthening Singapore’s position as a leading global business events destination.
He currently serves as Board Chair (2023–25) of the BestCities Global Alliance, where he champions legacy and sustainability initiatives, and is a Board Director at PCMA as of 2025.
Previously, Edward held senior regional roles across Southeast Asia and Greater China, advancing strategic tourism efforts. He also served in leadership capacities at the Ministry of Manpower, including as a negotiator for the China–Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
Edward holds degrees from the National University of Singapore, Beijing University, and Tsinghua University, and a doctorate in Hotel & Tourism Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a Visiting Professor, sits on several academic and editorial boards, and was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2024.
