A Glimpse Inside Rosen Centre’s New Sleek Guestrooms

It’s not surprising that more and more global companies are choosing Orlando’s premier meetings hotel Rosen Centre for their annual meetings. In addition to 150,000 square feet of meeting and event space, the property boasts nine dining options and award-winning catering, helmed by Executive Chef Michael Rumplik — not to mention an ideal location connected to the Orange County Convention Center and minutes away from the Orlando International Airport and Orlando’s world-famous attractions. Soon the outstanding service and hospitality Rosen Centre is known for will get a big upgrade, in the form of an ultramodern renovation of its guestrooms to be completed by the end of the year.

With renovations already underway, Rosen Centre’s spacious guestrooms are being updated to reflect the ultimate in spa-like calm and serenity. The walls, painted a deep rich teal, provide a clean backdrop to beds’ horizontal-panel headboards, which feature a gray-blue ombre finish. Soft touches of gray, crisp white, and teal lend themselves to the contemporary feel.

“We designed our new guestrooms to reflect the balance between form and function that is so important to our guests,” Todd Frappier, director of sales & marketing, Rosen Centre, said. “Integrating the necessary technology in a calming, comfortable environment strikes that balance.”

Traditional desks and dressers are being replaced with streamlined, quartz-topped all-in-one versions complete with matching pull-out ottoman. The expansive dresser desk offers plenty of room to spread out and use multiple electronic devices. Guests can charge all their devices at once on the multi-outlet connectivity bar located below the new wall-mounted 50-inch, flat-screen TV.

In addition to the connectivity bar, business travelers will appreciate several additional new, easy-to-access technological integrations. All desk lamps, headboard panels, and nightstands will come equipped with outlets for attendees’ convenience. In the king rooms, an elegant chaise lounge with a table for laptops makes it easy for guests to mix work with relaxation.

New carpets will perfectly complement the room’s color palette, with silvers and greys, and silver and off-white curtains will frame the silk sheers on the large windows overlooking International Drive and all of Orlando’s acclaimed attractions. Wooden cornice boards anchor the picturesque view and provide warmth to the space. The bathrooms, previously renovated, will be refreshed with new mirrors, light fixtures, and quartz countertops.

In addition to the renovation, Rosen Centre has upgraded 1,024 guestrooms to double queens and increased king guestrooms by 24. All have been replaced with contemporary platform bedding, accentuated with plush upholstered panels around the perimeter. New pillow-top mattresses have been customized with extra quilting to provide guests with unsurpassed comfort and support. The new bedding options are congruous to the upscale hotel’s premier stature among Orlando meetings properties.

“The Rosen Centre is the only venue we will come back to time and time again,” Heidi Pascale, director of corporate events, ASSA ABLOY said. “The hotel itself is equipped with just the right amenities and dining outlets, has more than ample meeting space, is sustainably conscious, and let’s not forget the awesome Harry’s Poolside Bar & Grill and 24-hour Red’s Deli.”

The award-winning Rosen Centre is known to planners for its sophistication and 150,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event-space options. It offers 35 breakout rooms, a 35,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, 18,000-square-foot Executive Ballroom, 14,375-square-foot Junior Ballroom, and nine dining options, including the unique Harry’s Poolside Bar & Grill. Coupled with its 1,334 guestrooms including 80 suites, Rosen Centre can accommodate events of any size. The property also stands out because of The Rosen Difference, which marks the forward-thinking vision and commitment to service that is at the heart of Rosen Centre.

“The staff is incredible,” Pascale said. “The team’s attention to detail and eagerness to please — even with our insane requests — are the sole reasons we continue to use Rosen Centre. They never let us see them sweat. They never say no and always pull out all the stops to make sure our programs are as turnkey as possible. We have utilized some of the best — from the Four Seasons to the St. Regis to the Ritz Carlton. I can tell you we have gotten our best attention and service from Rosen Centre.”
