Volunteer for PCMA’s Convene 4 Climate Advisory Board

PCMA is seeking leaders to join its new Convene 4 Climate (C4C) Advisory Board.

This Advisory Board will provide C4C with relevant market intelligence, the latest sustainability trends, and insights on new innovations and growth opportunities — helping shape C4C as a global platform and movement.

Your input will enable C4C to make informed decisions and refine its strategy as it works to grow and engage business event strategists worldwide. Advisory Board members will also serve as local ambassadors, amplifying C4C’s voice and presence within their respective markets. The 15-member Advisory Board will ultimately support the following objectives:

• Represent C4C as spokespersons and contribute to marketing efforts, including social media, to build and expand C4C’s influence as an event and global platform.
• Provide insights and feedback on regional and localized sustainability strategies, emerging innovations, and new technologies.
• Participate in activities and initiatives that drive growth for C4C.
• Help inform the strategy for developing the C4C annual event and global platform.
• Provide input on the creation of sustainability resource materials (e.g., courses, toolkits) to drive impact across the business events industry.

The C4C Advisory Board will be supported by the PCMA EMEA team. Members will participate on a volunteer basis and will not receive remuneration. Taskforces may be formed to support specific activities or initiatives led by members.

Before completing the volunteer form, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Experience in an executive Sustainability/Environmental Social Governance role
• 5–10 years of experience in the meetings & events industry, or recognized expertise in sustainability from another sector
• Executive leadership experience (Director-level or above)
• Global experience or responsibilities
