Anka Wittenberg


Anka Wittenberg is an economist and pivotal change agent on how to design and implement a healthy, diverse and inclusive workplace and culture.

As the Former Chief Diversity and Inclusion Office At SAP, an 88,000-employee global tech leader. She was responsible for the development and implementation of SAP’s diversity and inclusion strategy which includes gender equity, cross-generational intelligence and support, culture, race and LGBT awareness and equality, and the integration of differently-abled people into the workforce until July 1st, 2018.

Anka joined SAP in August 2011 until end of June 2018; she acted as global HR Business Partner and became the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and head of People Sustainability in March 2013. Prior to joining SAP, she was responsible for the HR strategy for 25,000 employees in the steel and automotive industry with business in Latin America and the U.S. Previously, she worked in HR for GE where she learned the power of strong processes, as well as the fundamentals of inclusive leadership.

She is a frequent speaker at global conferences and is active with UN Women helping to drive Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that aim to end poverty, combat inequalities and promote prosperity while protecting the environment by 2030. Anka is a guest writer for Entrepreneur Magazine Europe and often featured in Forbes and Fortune Magazines.

As the Chair of the Board of the World Childhood Foundation, Anka advocates to defend the rights of children and promotes better living conditions for vulnerable and exploited children at risk all over the world.

Anka holds a master degree in Economics. She is married and has three children.
