Stepping into the recent 2025 Autumn Showcase, held on Sept. 8 for 500 industry partners, was akin to entering a living installation. Unlike conventional trade shows, the event was designed to reflect the resort’s innovative and visionary approach to meetings and events. A centerpiece of the event, the dessert table was a stunning display of artistry, meticulously curated by the Banquet Team. Whimsical cloud canapés from the resort’s signature restaurants KOMA Singapore, Mott 32 Singapore, and Yardbird Southern Table & Bar were suspended from helium balloons to encourage playful interaction. Every detail — from spatial transitions to sensory cues — was orchestrated to inspire connection and wonder, embodying the resort’s signature fusion of precision, creativity, and luxury. The Autumn Showcase also marked the debut of the Marina Bay Civic Immersion Trail. This new, two-hour guided walking experience through the Marina Bay precinct was curated specifically for C-suite participants in order to provide insights into Singapore’s history. In addition, the event also introduced the new metaverse experience described below, highlighting the scope and breadth of experiences available to delegates at the resort.
Building New Connections in the Metaverse
Created in collaboration with The Doodle People, Marina Bay Sands’ one-of-a-kind metaverse experience offers meeting-goers a flexible, interactive, and memorable alternative to traditional event formats. Once in the metaverse, delegates are transformed into avatars and invited to explore virtual spaces modeled after some of the resort’s most iconic venues like Sands SkyPark, which offers the best 360-degree views of the city.
