PCMA Welcomes Rana Foroohar to the Convening Leaders Main Stage
Award-Winning Journalist and CNN Global Economic Analyst to Explore How Supply Chains Are Shifting from Efficiency to Resiliency

CHICAGO, IL – Sherrif Karamat, CAE, President & CEO, PCMA and CEMA, today announced Rana Foroohar, Columnist and Associate Editor at the Financial Times and Global Economic Analyst for CNN, will join the Convening Leaders 2027 (CL27) Monday, January 11 Main Stage. Foroohar’s keynote entitled “From Efficiency to Resiliency: Supply Chains in a New Era” will highlight how supply chains are moving from anywhere to somewhere, from concentration to redundancy, and from just in time to just in case.
Trade wars, pandemics and global conflict have changed the way the world does business, and resiliency is now what matters most. Drawing on her reporting and storytelling Foroohar will present CL27 participants with the forces transforming global supply chains and a new playbook for leading through them.
“Efficiency got us here, but resiliency is what will carry us forward,” said Karamat. “Rana has a way of cutting through the noise and helping us see what truly matters, and that clarity is critical for our global community right now. She’ll inspire us to rethink how we plan, how we partner and how we lead, and I’m really looking forward to her inspiring keynote.”
