Award-winning dining
The ever-evolving dining scene in the neighborhood surrounding the PCC includes nationally-recognized destinations like Bacanora, whose chef Rene Andrade was awarded the 2024 James Beard Award for “Best Chef: Southwest;” and the much-lauded Pizzeria Bianco. There’s even a Huss Brew Pub located right inside the PCC itself, so attendees can savor local brews while mingling at the end of a day of meetings.

Cultural excursions… just steps away
Cultural attractions within walking distance include two sports stadiums—the Footprint Center, home to the Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) and Suns (NBA); plus the Arizona Diamondbacks’ (MLB) Chase Field. Museums, including the Arizona Science Center, the Phoenix Art Museum and the Heard Museum—which celebrates indigenous artwork and history—are all within a quick stroll or a couple of light rail stops; as are theaters, including the Orpheum and Symphony Hall.

And for art lovers, the First Friday Art Walk is a monthly can’t-miss event spanning dozens of city blocks and hundreds of galleries, performance spaces, restaurants, bars, food trucks, and more.
