Kevin Hinton
Minding Your Business (MYB) has welcomed Kevin Hinton to the leadership team as executive vice president of strategy. In this new position, Hinton will serve as a client project strategist while also leading the strategic services team to implement forward-thinking approaches to drive long-term success for clients. Hinton has more than two decades of leadership experience. He most recently served as CEO of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE).
Mike Dickinson, Amanda Gustafson, and David Lawton
Convention Data Services (CDS) has made strategic changes to its national sales organization to expand its sales presence in two major tradeshow association markets: Chicago and Washington, D.C.
Mike Dickinson has joined CDS as account executive and is opening the organization’s new Washington, D.C., office, where he will use his 20 years of industry experience to develop relationships with key accounts. Amanda Gustafson has been promoted to account executive and will open the organization’s Chicago office. Previously, she served as onsite services manager. David Lawton has been promoted to chief sales officer. He previously served as executive vice president of sales and has nearly 20 years of sales leadership experience in the tradeshow business.
Adrienne Siemers
The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC) has promoted Adrienne Siemers to senior vice president of sales. She will assume many of the responsibilities of former chief sales officer Kay Witt, who retired earlier this summer. Siemers has been with NCVC since 2005. In that time, she has led several high-profile projects, including the city’s bid to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup games.
Jill Buckley
Jilly Buckley has joined Meet Minneapolis as a national account executive. In this role, she will lead the sales effort in the Northeast association and corporate meetings market. Additionally, Buckley will be responsible for sales efforts in the government meetings market across the country. Most recently, Buckley served as sales manager for GES, a global event marketing company.
