Sarah Joyce

AVIXA (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) has named Sarah Joyce as its next chief global officer. She succeeds Terry Friesenborg, who will retire at the end of the year. Joyce joins the organization from Electrosonic Ltd., where she worked for 12 years and most recently served as managing director. She and Friesenborg will jointly manage AVIXA’s global operations for the remainder of 2019.

Maureen Carter

Maureen Carter has joined CSI DMC as vice president of national sales for the West Coast region. She brings more than a decade of client relations and meeting management experience to the role. Most recently, Carter served as national sales director of the five-star, five-diamond resort, The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Ryan Wollman

The Los Angeles Airport Marriott has added Ryan Wollman to the hotel’s executive team as the new director of group sales. In this role, Wollman will maximize group revenue and profitability through the sale of guest rooms, catering and tours, and for directing, managing, and coordinating all group sales activities. He will also assist in the development and implementation of resort sales and marketing strategies. Wollman previously worked at the JW Marriott Washington, D.C., as senior sales executive.

Rory Davis

The San Francisco Travel Association has named Rory Davis its new senior manager, sports and entertainment sales. Davis will be responsible for securing new sports- and entertainment-related business for San Francisco Bay Area venues and hotels. Davis has worked with Giants Enterprises for the past six years, most recently as marketing manager.
