Deirdre Lewis and Julie Van’t Hul
The San Francisco Travel Association has promoted Deirdre Lewis to the position of senior director, convention services and events, and added Julie Van’t Hul as director, citywide accounts, to fill Lewis’ previous role. Lewis has been with San Francisco Travel since 2005, and steps into the new position now that Kathryn Horton — who was vice president, convention services and events — has retired. Van’t Hul joins San Francisco Travel from Choose Chicago, where she served as director of western regional sales.

Aoife Delaney
The DMC Network announced the appointment of Aoife Delaney as director of marketing and sales. Based in Dublin, Ireland, Delaney is the first international/European team member to join DMC Network. She was most recently director of global sales for Ovation Global DMC, and is an active member of SITE, where she spent the past five years as a member of the International Board of Directors.

David Osterhout
After three decades as the facility manager for Houston First’s George R. Brown Convention Center, David Osterhout will retire, effective April 28. Osterhout’s tenure at the center began when the facility had four exhibit halls totaling 450,000 square feet. Today, the building has 1.8 million square feet under one roof.

Jill Vance
Lee County (Florida) Visitor & Convention Bureau has hired Jill Vance as its new director of sales. Vance joins the Lee County VCB from the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, where she worked as group sales manager.
