Miami Unveils 80,000 Square Feet of Opportunity

A Sponsored Message from Miami Beach Convention Center

The new Grand Ballroom and Sunset Vista Ballroom at the Miami Beach Convention Center offer meeting planners more space and flexibility to dream big.

Sometimes bigger does mean better. If you’re orchestrating a large-scale event, the recently revealed Grand Ballroom and Sunset Vista Ballroom at the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) more than fit the bill. Designed with tons of square footage, modern styles and numerous, flexible layout options, these well-appointed ballrooms offer two more reasons to partner with the MBCC.

Room to Move

Following in the footsteps of the MBCC’s $620 million LEED-certified expansion that added 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, these two ballrooms expand meeting options for planners in big ways. Coming in at 60,000 square feet, the Grand Ballroom is one of the largest event spaces in the region, making it perfect for conventions or galas. And the Sunset Vista Ballroom supplements its 20,000 interior square footage with a luxurious outdoor terrace, featuring incredible views of the Miami Beach skyline.

Flexible Layout Options

Want to host a pre-event breakfast and then move into a keynote session? Need to run several breakout sessions at the same time? The Grand Ballroom has the flexibility to be partitioned with air walls into two or three distinct sections, plus an additional 18,000 square feet of casual, pre-function space that can accommodate up to 600 attendees. This extra space is adjacent to the Grand Staircase, which can be used for outdoor functions and overlooks incredible artwork installed by Miami Beach’s Art in Public Places program.

More to Enjoy

New enhancements to the MBCC campus don’t end with these ballrooms. A six-acre public park—the perfect green space for attendees to enjoy between meetings—is slated for completion this fall. And coming soon, you’ll be able to host an event at the fully renovated Carl Fisher Clubhouse, a historic landmark built in 1916 (and the former Miami Beach Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse) that offers almost 5,000 square feet of event space.

Be the first to take advantage of these impressive new spaces at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
