Karamo Brown

Television host, activist

Brown can be seen on the Emmy-nominated Netflix reboot of “Queer Eye,” where he serves as culture expert and “makes over” the hearts and minds of the “culturally challenged.” He has worked as an on-air host and producer for Oprah Winfrey Network and Huffington Post Live and as a contributor on NBC’s “Access Hollywood Live.” He co-founded 6in10.org, an organization addressing the mental health and self-esteem of individuals affected by HIV, and received the 2018 Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award.

We all have different identities that are intersectionalities of our personalities. I’m a black man, a gay man. I’m also a single father. I think it’s important to not check those identities at the door.
