Join PCMA SWP  as SEAS Productions presents an educational afternoon focused on providing our live event & hospitality professionals an engaging panel discuss highlighting The Business of Business Financials, followed by a dive into the Seven Pillars of Live Events Work / Life Balance. After these sessions the afternoon will close out with a networking Cinco de Mayo Happy Hour!

Anticipated Agenda: 

    • 2:00 PM – Arrivals and Light Refreshments
    • 2:30 PM – Welcome with Troy Peters, CTS
    • 2:45 PM – The Business of the Business Panel with Tempo Live Events – This panel discussion will teach you the ins and outs of keeping your business finances clean, organized, and easy to manage.  We’ll share simple bookkeeping systems, common mistakes to avoid, and practical ways to reduce admin time so your numbers are always in good shape.  This is the ideal session for anyone looking to build a true business servicing the live events industry whether you are an event planner making her own event planning business or you’re an event freelancer that needs to better track their projects.
      • Panelists include Lalan Pulati, Nancy Spooner, and Troy Peters, CTS
    • 3:30 PM – The Seven Pillars of Live Event Work / Life Balance with Angelica Robison, Intuitive Relationship Coach. –When individuals are out of alignment internally, it shows up externally in the workplace and no one wants that.  This interactive session leans into “The Seven Pillars” – a practical framework designed to help individuals and teams reduce chaos, improve communication, and restore balance across work, wellness, and relationships.  Through the seven pillars of Awareness, Respect, Communication, Commitment, Community, Giving, and Strength participants explore together how imbalance creates stress, conflict, and disengagement – and how alignment restores clarity, collaboration, peace, and vitality.  Participants will engage through brief real-life examples and reflective prompts to encourage practical application.  They will have the opportunity to write out 3 key points to assist them in the areas they choose to focus on and apply in real life.
    • 4:30 PM – Closing Conversations
    • 4:45 PM – Cinco de Mayo Happy Hour with Food & Beverages hosted by SEAS Productions
    • 6:00 PM – Closing

 

Troy Peters career began in motion picture production working with 20th Century Fox, Paramount, and Disney before migrating to association show management with the Society for Optics & Photonics in Washington State where he was part of a team managing a dozen international and regional events from 500 to well over 20,000 attendees across the Unites States, Canada, and Europe. Eventually Troy migrated back to production and continues to build his relationships in the corporate, association, and special event space having been involved on events with South x Southwest, the McCain Institute, PGA, NCAA, and even an NFL Super Bowl. With his innate understanding of what it takes to design production centric experiences while understanding the demands of the event life cycle, he continues to share this knowledge as a speaker, a board member, volunteer, and a mentor to others in the industry. As part owner and Chief Experience Officer with SEAS Productions, Troy is guiding the company to embrace change, step outside their comfort zone and immerse marketing and client relations as one and the same by sharing the “secret sauce” that makes their company unique in the audio visual and production space.

Lalan Pulati is the Controller at Tempo Live Events, and Founder of Druzy Financials, where she oversees the company’s financial operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. With a strong foundation in business accounting and hands-on experience across accounting operations, FP&A, and financial systems design, Lalan is known for her practical, detail-driven approach—bridging financial data with real-world operations so leadership teams can focus on execution & growth.

 

 

Angelica Robison is a professional speaker and intuitive relationship coach specializing in workplace relationships and work/life balance. She is the creator of The Seven Pillars of Work/Life Alignment, a proprietary framework centered on awareness, communication, and intentional connection. Angelica helps professionals reduce stress, navigate life transitions with clarity, and create healthier relationships through keynotes, workshops, and virtual coaching options.

 

 

 

 

Nancy Spooner, an accomplished independent contractor with 30+ years’ experience in producing and stage managing corporate events, sales meetings, and tech conferences as well as sporting events like the X Games, Olympics, and US Open Tennis. In 2008 she founded Tempo Live Events, a premier resource for freelance event production resourcing. When not on calls, Nancy can be found hiking or biking in a National Park with her husband and son or surfing in San Diego.
