Sally McGrath is a passionate advocate for mental health and well-being, with a personal journey that has fueled her dedication to raising awareness about the often-overlooked issue of burnout. Having faced burnout multiple times herself, Sally is now on a mission to shed light on this pervasive problem and help others prevent and overcome it.
Sally’s own experiences with burnout have given her unique insights into the challenges it presents and the toll it can take on individuals’ physical and emotional health. She understands the shame and stigma that often surround burnout, which can prevent individuals from seeking help and support.
With a deep commitment to promoting mental wellness, Sally has become a vocal advocate for change. She believes that cultural expectations and societal pressures are significant contributors to the alarming rise in burnout statistics, and she is dedicated to addressing these underlying issues.
Sally McGrath is a beacon of hope for those who have experienced burnout and those looking to prevent it. Through her work in education, awareness, and prevention strategies, she is helping individuals and organisations build healthier, more resilient communities. Katherine Droga has established multiple successful global platforms in the wellness industry.
Her consultancy firm, Droga & Co., specializes in sustainable strategies and capacity building for destinations, tourism experiences and events worldwide.
Katherine has worked for over 25 years in the tourism and media industries including Tourism Australia for over a decade. She is proud to be the Chair of the Global Wellness Institute’s Tourism initiative, advisor to the Transformational Travel Council, and the Australian Ambassador for Global Wellness Day.
