Tracey Burkey

Finger Lakes Visitors Connection, the official tourism promotion agency for Ontario County, has hired Tracey Burkey as director of sales. Burkey will oversee and facilitate all aspects of meeting and conference sales and services for Ontario County tourism. Burkey has 30 years of sales, meetings, and event planning experience. She most recently served as manager of global accounts for HelmsBriscoe.

Felicia Wichser

LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Florida, has hired Felicia Wichser as director of conference services and catering. She has more than 11 years of hospitality sales experience in the Miami area. Before joining LaPlaya, Wichser held the director of catering sales position at the Ritz-Carlton in South Beach and spent six years as the social catering and restaurant sales manager for Mandarin Oriental.

Leila Heller

Leila Heller has been appointed VisitBritain’s meeting and incentives director for North America, based on the West Coast. Heller will be in charge of leading the growth in business events for the destination in the North American market. She previously worked for ESA Latin America, a destination management company, where she focused on business development in the U.S. and Canada.
