PCMA Insights has released “PCMA Information and Communications Technology 2026 Sector Report: The Pulse of Global Events,” the third of four market-sector reports to be published this year in collaboration with MCI and sponsored by Visit Anaheim. The new report covers the fast-growing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) arena, which includes AI, connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity professionals.

As this sector expands, the events industry can play a critical role in fostering and deepening relationships between buyers, technologies, and ecosystems. The report tracks a 5.85 percent compound annual growth rate for the global ICT market and documents the strongest development in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, there is a helpful breakdown of the top three growth markets within ICT: cloud and data center spending, cybersecurity, and connectivity.
