Items can be turned in to registration on Concourse A at Walter E. Washington Convention Center. They will be held there until the completion of the program and then turned over to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Security Office.
What to wear?
During the conference, business casual with comfortable shoes, is recommended. Casual attire is appropriate for evening events
How many Education Clock Hours can I earn at Destination Showcase?
The maximum number of clock hours available is 3 if you participated in the PCMA Education Sessions however the number you receive is based upon the type and number of sessions you attend. PCMA is a CAE and CMP Preferred provider.
What is the Average Temperature in February in Washington DC?
Average daily high: 45 degrees Fahrenheit but will drop in the evening so we encourage attendees to pack a winter jacket.
Are wheelchair rentals available?
Walter E. Washington Convention Center does not rent wheelchairs. Please contact ScootAround to prearrange a wheelchair/scooter to be delivered to Walter E. Washington Convention Center Concourse A.
Is there a mother’s room at the convention center?
Walter E. Washington Convention Center has two Mamava Lactation Suites available at the center.
Where can I park?
Walter E. Washington Convention Center does not have Parking available. There are several parking facilities in the surrounding area. There are over 3000 parking spaces in a three-block radius of the facility. These spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.
